Anderlie, her twin brother Anderson, and older brother Davenks were found by Pastor Wiljean's niece. They were living with their grandmother who was unable to take care of them. They also have an older sibling. Their father was hit by a falling tree and was injured. Their mother was unable to take care of them. When brought to the orphanage, Anderlie and her twin brother Anderson were extremely malnourished and were very sick for the first few months of living at the orphanage.
